Historical Figures of Mewni: Fionnuala Seabreeze
Author's Note: Hi everyone! Apologies, but Jupus' artwork is being slightly delayed. So, in the meantime, I thought I'd create another historical figure of Mewni biography for you all. As I posted earlier in the week, this biography is based on the Irish folksong 'Bean Pháidín,' which essentially translates to 'the wife of Pháidín.' However, this version has much less jealousy and wishing for your love rival's bones to be broken. This biography will also expand on the origins of the Fae species in Mewni. (Side note: despite how it might read, no, there is no time travel, haha!) Anyways, enjoy! Fionnuala, the Translator In courtly scrolls, her pen traced, Translating tales of the Fae's embrace. Yet in love's dance, she found a different space, A heart's journey, in a serendipitous chase. Much of Fionnuala’s early life is only known thanks to the autobiographies she published in her lifetime. She was born on the 22nd of Qork (24th of June) 988BM to Finley Seabreeze, a

The Butterfly Family: Aubigny Butterfly
Author's Note: Hi everyone! This week, I'll be sharing Aubigny's biography. Her life story draws much inspiration from Julie d'Aubigny (1673 – 1707), a French Opera singer, swordswoman, flamboyant fashionista, and an all-around badass, to put it bluntly. This biography has lingered on my desktop for about half a year without being finished, but thankfully, I've finally managed to flesh out the bullet point concepts into something coherent. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! Aubigny the Defender In a world of song, her voice did soar, Love's melody, she did explore. With every note, her heart found grace, In love's embrace, she found her place. On the 91st of Norvath (14th of February) in 436BM, Queen Lillian and her longtime friend, Matthew Bell, welcomed their daughter, Aubigny Butterfly, into the world. The Princess was born with chestnut-brown hair and blue eyes, with a pair of treble clef markings sitting on each of her cheeks. Tragically, a year after her birth in 437BM, her

Consorts of Mewni #13: Emmeric Melori
Author's Note: Hello everyone! I'm back with Emmeric's biography, who is Pandora's "lover" – I use that term very lightly considering what happens to him. Though "victim" is probably more accurate. His biography isn’t the longest since he didn’t get to live a long life and didn’t really accomplish much, aside from chasing after both royal princesses, so hopefully you guys are okay with it being a little shorter than usual. A quick trigger warning is necessary due to the contents of this biography: it contains themes of emotional manipulation, confinement, torture, and implied violence, including detailed descriptions of psychological and physical abuse. I realize that in light of recent events in the fandom, this biography had the misfortune of coming out at arguably the worst time, and my sympathy goes out to the person (whose name I won't mention for their privacy's sake) who was impacted the most by a member of the fandom. Reader discretion is advised. Emmeric, the Imprisoned He

Queens of Mewni #11: Urania Butterfly
Update: Hi everyone! I am excited to share Urania's revised biography with you. I've made a few adjustments to enhance its formality and give it a more historical tone. Additionally, I've incorporated a connection between Urania and Andromeda in the alternate universe (AU). This connection lies in their eye colour transformation, with Urania initially having blue eyes and Andromeda having green ones. After laying eyes on a goddess, their eyes changed to a striking gold hue. In Urania's case, it was the goddess' true form that proved overwhelming for her Mewman mind, leading to her untimely demise. This event not only drew the attention of a specific god but also set in motion the possession of Pandora. Urania, the Stargazer Seeking the wand's origin, In the starry, night-kissed sky, Answers she found, But passed that same fateful night. Urania was born on the 42nd of Qork (14th of July) in 199BM to Queen Thalia and Prince Consort Eleric Shade; she was their only daughter.

Consorts of Mewni #12.2: Rocky Seagrass
Note: Hi, everyone! This biography is part of a larger project called the "Equalistverse," which features a different story for Star and attempts to fix some of the plot holes, lackluster reveals, and unanswered questions that were in the actual canon of the show. This series primarily focuses on the consorts and almost consorts of the Butterfly Kingdom, who graced the monarchs with their presence and affection (in most cases). This biography is of Queen Salacia's second husband. Rocky, the Divorced A year it was, the Prince Consort and Queen Married, but fate was not kind. Dismissed by her, his castle now hers Allies they remained, their bond never deterred. Rocky Seagrass was born on the 22nd of Spleenax (10th of May) in 212BM to Lord Delfin Seagrass and his wife Lady Dariana (née Marisford). Historical Figures of Mewni: The Blue Nun
Author’s Note: Hi everyone! Just wanted to inform you that I've received the sketches for the consorts' artwork. The next post on this account will feature Favian’s official artwork once the colouring is complete. With that said, this biography aims to narrate the story of the last woman of the Scelenite faith at the time of her death and the last Melori. It is based on the life and ghost sightings of Julia McQuillan, known as 'the Black Nun,' of Bonamargy Friary in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. While she may not be as widely recognized as some of Ireland’s other ghosts, her story felt fitting for a "historical figure of Mewni" biography. So, sit back and enjoy! Juliana, the Devote In shadows of forgotten lore, Juliana's tale, a mystery bore. From noble birth to convent's door, A spectral guardian forevermore. Not much is known about Juliana Melori’s life, not even her birth date. However, it is generally agreed upon that she was born sometime around 430BM to Lady Naomi Melori

The Butterfly Family: Metis Butterfly
Author's Note: Apologies, everyone! The next batch of artwork for the consorts is taking a little bit longer than expected. In the meantime, I've been working on some of the biographies of the side characters in this AU. I thought I'd share Metis' biography, who was originally planned to be the eighth monarch in this AU but was changed to Anemias to justify Skywynne's decision of giving Jushtin the wand. A quick trigger warning: this biography contains descriptions of violent and traumatic events, including the brutal siege of Butterfly Castle, the death of family members, and physical harm inflicted upon children. Reader discretion is advised, and individuals who may be sensitive to themes of violence, loss, or grief are cautioned before proceeding. Metis, the Tragic A princess born with grace and might, Heiress to a throne so bright, With promise of a future reign, Her life was lost in war's disdain. Note: Hi, everyone! Just to keep you updated, the riots in Dublin have calmed down. Fortunately, all I have to worry about is nothing more than a burst lip for the foreseeable future.
